I have the Vallentuna sleeper and the storage piece next to it both with backrests in my office. Looks like a loveseat. However, I occasionally like to move the storage piece in front of the sleeper and make a chaise that faces my television. I'm in good shape and I find the pieces incredibly heavy and difficult to reconfigure.

I slept on the Vallentuna for a week and was ok with it. If you don't mind a mattress that isn't firm, it may work for you. They're fine to use everyday - both as a sofa and bed (I have one) also the cushions are cut to avoid the gap being felt so if you were in a showroom and felt a dip I am pretty confident that the cushions were either.

General I'm very on the fence about buying a Vallentuna sleeper module. The online reviews are all over the place: some say the bed is too firm and others say it's too soft (I prefer on the softer side). The average review is on the low side, but there aren't many reviews available.

It is discontinued everywhere! The few second hand Valletuna available are listed at half price from the original price ($500). I finally found 4 modules on eBay and won! Two of them are sofa bed and the other two are the storage ones). They came with backrests and side arms but we can't really fit the four of them.
